Where is Cooks Bay Marina located?
We’re on Cook’s Bay, on beautiful Lake Simcoe, in the town of Gilford, Innisfil, Ontario — at 1155 Gilford Rd, a short drive from the GTA.
What boats can I rent?
Pontoons, fishing boats, a speed boat, a jet ski, kayaks, canoes and stand-up paddleboards. Motorized boats rent by the half or full day (plus HST, gas extra); paddle craft rent by the hour.
How big a boat can I keep in a slip?
Our 140 slips sit in a protected channel off Lake Simcoe with 15 or 30-amp hydro, and accommodate boats up to 35′ with a maximum 4′ draft.
How much does it cost to launch a boat?
A 2026 season pass is $270 + HST (ramp and parking, May 31 – Oct 31). A single day launch is $20 plus $10 parking (tax included). Book your launch time online and arrive 15 minutes early.
Is there food at the marina?
Yes — there’s a food truck on the dock in summer (Friday–Sunday, 11am–7pm), plus snacks, ice cream and cold drinks. And yes, you should try the ice cream.
Can I fish from shore?
Fishing isn’t permitted along the marina shoreline, but we offer boat-fishing rentals in summer and heated ice-fishing huts with a shuttle in winter.
What does Summerize service include?
From $250, our crew handles batteries, fluids, pumps and 12-volt systems, lights, the outdrive and propeller, anodes, fuel and cooling systems, and a full engine start-up and gauge check.
How do I rent an ice-fishing hut?
Book online or call the marina. Day hut rates are $60–$70 per adult (max 6 per hut, $180 minimum, taxes extra), with a shuttle, and minnows ($12) and rod rental ($10) available.
